Hence, the content you create has to be interesting in terms of online browsers, it also has to be interesting for people who just want a read. Content has always been and looks likely to remain, king.
Another very important aspect is how your site is set up, and which topics are covered on it. Again, a good SEO company will be your advisor, telling you which issues matter, which should be included, and which ones are not as good.
You should also work with companies that provide you with factual indicators. This means that you should receive regular reports on your current status, how you have grown, and which factors have been of influence on this. For instance, if you have engaged in both a PPC campaign and a social media campaign, the reports should be able to tell you the impact of both of those, so you can choose to continue with both, either, or none.
Then, there is the fact that the top SEO companies have been around for a long time. In order to keep the playing field level, honest, and open and accessible to everybody, Google regularly changes its algorithms. Whenever this happens, SEO companies suddenly start to disappear, simply because they don’t have the capacity to understand the new updates and implement them. Many reopen after some time, under a different name. You must, therefore, look for a company that has been around for a long time, thereby demonstrating that they are capable of dealing with change.
Last but not least, look at the interest the SEO company shows in you. If they don’t get to know you and your individual and particular needs, then they probably won’t be able to really deliver good results for you either. After all, every company is different, unique, and individual and what works for one will not work for everybody. If you do not feel as if the company you are working with is your advisor and consultant, then they are not at the top of their game.
