Do you ever find yourself walking in a busy city and becoming out of breath? Just keeping up with the pace at which people move around you can be exhausting. Remember to slow down this year, take some time out, listen to your body when it tells you to rest.
Slowing yourself down can have some real health benefits for you both physically and mentally. Slowing down means you are less prone to injury which physically can make you feel much better. Mentally, slowing down can be achieved through meditation and mindfulness. Relaxation is often thought as being akin to laziness, but it is important to remember that you are only human and that relaxing and taking time for yourself is key to helping improve your health and happiness, therefore improving your life.
